Welcome back! It was most definitely the Monday after a long weekend. This morning we discussed and wrote Haiku poetry. Many students faced the class and stood up to share their writing. We heard everything from beautiful traditional Haiku to silly and goofy ones. Ask your student what they are learning in computers!
In Math both grades received work that needs to be signed and returned tomorrow. This afternoon we discussed space, outer space. We looked at a scenario explored by NASA space scientists and tried to decide what items we would need to make a 320km journey on the sunny side of the moon. Ask your student how some of the items were used.
Homework:
Math - tests signed and returned
Math 6 - NAME in grid for tomorrow
Relay forms
PE STRIP for tomorrow
Novel reading

| This is the Shane Koyczan spoken word poem To This Day that talks about the impact of bullying. We watched this video this morning before beginning to write our own poetry. |
